Do you accept it?

By Vladimir Huber

One day fell after the other.
It was strange, but it was,
and it had to be accepted.
When things happen that way,
it always makes you wonder,
how come things were so slow,
down there, when you were
just one more kid, on the street.
Now, you are the one,
and things are quite different.
You like it, you can’t deny it,
but sometimes,
it gets kind of boring.

Life, what a word.
You try to define it
and get a hold of it,
but it’s always changing.
You predict; but, who knows…?
