Egos, what a thing!

By Vladimir Huber

I thought things were getting clearer
That the horizon with its cloudiness
was getting closer, while the moisture of the air
was arising by the help of a new sunshine
Dreamt world, reality then

Anger from confusion
bad feelings from blindness
She just forgets, I just don’t know
The childish feeling
of not been able to tolerate
being treated like a child
grows in me while she seems to slip away

She wants to stay, I want her to stay
Egos are stronger than feelings
so they take over, and once more
the heart is a decorative figure
Hearts getting hurt, people becoming sad
Souls asking for mercy
hoping to see an overturn
