And the story goes on and on

By Vladimir Huber

Little frogs asking for mercy,
while the people around,
just go by.
Little people asking to be fed,
while the big ones around,
just go by.
The story is the same,
and will go on and on.
Of course, it doesn’t hurt me;
I guess, it’s a good reason,
to just go by.

The people around,
asked me about my heart;
I said I didn’t know.
I asked them about their brains;
they said, they didn’t know.
We understood.
