The calls of his heart

By Vladimir Huber

Alone the boy goes through the world
in search of the calls of his heart
He knows something awaits him
without knowing exactly what it is
But the calls are strong enough
so the search goes on and on
far from his initial goals

Family, friends and former lovers
didn’t expect this change of pace
but they could be pleased
if they just knew that it comes from within

Papa Hesse holds a hand
for sure it feels warm
She holds the other one
but the hand is holding her, too
All that, makes the balance
which he needs so badly
to keep the search on and on.
