As life goes by
By Vladimir Huber
Life goes by fast
the river doesn’t stop
Maybe someday
the glacier won’t give any more water
that day the river will die
To some it will bother
but time will erase the trail
let´s bathe and enjoy the river
while it’s alive and gives us joy
Let’s not be half-blind
and see the river when it stops
‘cause it will be late to love it
or make it our friend
Life bathes us
and death sentences us
both play with us
like two jealous lovers
anxious to embrace us forever.
