She looks back with sad eyes
By Vladimir Huber
There she goes at forty-three
Chasing kids around
Trying to find in sensuous rewardings
what she lost when she was twenty-two
She looks back in time with sad eyes
She has to conform
to twenty/thirty-minute happiness
She looks back in time
and tears come down
from her one time sweet eyes
All her potentials are somewhere
All her pride is somewhere
All her experiences are history
Only her sad eyes and the chase
are the things that water her eyes
If it wasn’t for that
everything would be just fine
