You are supposed to

By Vladimir Huber

Today we have to laugh,
the calendar said.
Tomorrow we’ll be sad,
he continued.
Too, we are humans.
But nobody told me on what level;
not high, anyway.
Mom, how should I feel?
The only thing I feel
is that nobody feels.
